Summary Objective: The Architectural Designer bridges the gap between Design and Construction through strong communication skills and a highly integrated collaborative approach. The Architectural Designer brings technical & detailed experience to ensure sales-design-build is fully integrated into the overall execution of high-quality and successful projects. During the design and construction phases, the Architectural Designer supports and focuses project feasibility, design & architectural intent, design quality, budget and schedule commitments as well as facilitating comprehensive partnering, design disciplines cross-coordination, zoning, code, and budget compliance, and constructability reviews.
Summary of Essential Duties:
- Perform property measures and produce detailed construction documents, making any necessary corrections through the design-build process
- Own & compile specifications and make revisions as needed (through the design-final bid processes)
- Reciprocate technical design with estimation as part of project feasibility
- Ensure that all works are carried out to specific standards, building codes, guidelines, and regulations
- Make and support on-site visits and tasks for design-build teams
- Cooperate and liaise with outside construction professionals, subcontractors, vendors
- Follow architectural trends and advancements, including technology
- In addition, we all wear multiple hats at times, this could include but limited to assisting:
- Project startups and close out items
- Marketing & Sales tasks
- On-the-business projects
