This Minneapolis custom home was inspired by a mix of Mediterranean architecture and modern styling. Terracotta-inspired tile, reeded textures, warm wood elements, and soft pastels were all selected to bring a bit of European character to the Midwest. After living in an older home, this family was ready for a space that offered modern amenities and a closer connection to the city. When selecting their lot, they were drawn not only to its location, but the large backyard for entertaining and everyday life. This home was designed to take full advantage of that setting, with expansive windows and large doors letting in lots of natural light and views to the yard. Some of the unique additions to the home include a dog shower, sauna, electric vehicle charging stations, and plenty of custom cabinetry and millwork.
